Matthew also specialises in venture capital/early-stage businesses, which sees him regularly providing advice in relation to business structuring, capital raising/financing, corporate governance, concept protection and commercialisation, private mergers and acquisitions, financial services and general corporate advisory. By leveraging his own personal experiences in business, Matthew is able to provide insightful, timely, cost-effective and direct advice to start-ups (and their founders) on their most critical legal and strategic issues, which can be the difference between the success or failure of the venture. Matthew is further developing his skills in this area by undertaking a Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney, specialising in Accounting and Finance.
